Hi, I am Lauren Dowling, the seventh grade mathematics teacher! It is a great pleasure to be working in my hometown of New Milford. I graduated from New Milford High School in 2009 then went on to pursue my love of mathematics at Montclair State University. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics then continued my education at New Jersey City University to optain my teaching certification. I started my teaching career in 2006 as the basic skills (TIPS) math teacher at David E. Owens Middle School. I am looking forward to this school year and helping all my students grow as mathematical thinkers! It is my goal as a teacher to help students become lifelong learners. I believe promoting creativity and critical thinking is one of many keys to success.
