Mrs. Oliviero is the Library Media Specialist at Berkley Street Elementary School.  She received a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with an Elementary Education Teachers Certification (K-8). Mrs. Oliviero has two Masters Degrees.  A Masters Degree in Library and Information Science specializing in School Media from Pratt Institute with a School Library Media Certification (K-12) and a Masters Degree of Science in Educational Technology from Ramapo College.  She holds a Supervisory Certification and a New Jersey State Librarian Certificate as well.

Mrs. Oliviero organizes schoolwide reading programs, author visits, teaches 1st grade students in the REACH program (Reaching Excellence through Academic CHallenge), and 3rd-5th grade LEAP (Learning Enrichment Activities Program) Coding/MakerSpace.  She is also the Girls Varsity Tennis Coach at New Milford High School.

As an educator, she values her job and the opportunity that she will have to work one on one with her colleagues in order to provide the students with the skills needed to become 21st Century learners. Students visit the Media Center every week for technology or library skill instruction; they borrow books on a bi-weekly basis. Mrs. Oliviero is looking forward to yet another school year assisting both the students and faculty of Berkley Street Elementary School.
