Mr. Jacob has been a mathematics teacher at NMHS since the 2001/2002 school year and is a 1991 graduate of Seton Hall University, where he obtained a BS in Mathematics with a Minor in Physics. Mr. Jacob also obtained an MAT in mathematics from Montclair State University, and holds a certificate in Supervision from William Paterson University.

Besides teaching math, Mr. Jacob enjoys creative writing and other artistic activities such as sketching, composing music on Apple’s Gargageband, and photography. He is also a fan of anything science fiction. He is often times seen keeping active shooting hoops in the school gym.

In the past, he has been advisor for Math League, Genesis (the school’s no longer active Art & Literary magazine), and Badminton club. He also taught the after school SAT prep program.

Fun Fact: Mr. Jacob is not a fan of cell phones.
